The overall aim of the Literature Profile of the CALL Program is to prepare students for university studies in English literature, journalism, creative writing, drama, history or law, and careers in teaching, writing, editing and publishing.


Program and Profile Requirements

Students in this profile must take six profile-required courses.

Students must also take four more profile courses, either the courses recommended by the literature profile or courses offered by other profiles for the same competency. Courses with an asterisk* (on the course list page) are those recommended for students who wish to take the maximum number of courses in their own profile or discipline. Alternatively, students can choose to take other courses listed in the same section.

Students must choose additional program-option courses each term.

Each term students must also take General Education (CORE) courses in English, Humanities, French and Physical Education as well as two complementary courses in disciplines outside of their program.
