Adobe Photoshop (Level 1)
Prerequisite: Introduction to the Macintosh or Introduction to Windows or equivalent knowledge
Photoshop is a "digital darkroom" - a professional, 32-bit colour photo-retouching and image-editing program. If you have a great shot but hate the graffiti on a wall, don’t worry - you can erase it or even write some of your own with Photoshop. This course will teach students how to scan photographs and other images, turning them into digital image files, and how to open these files in Photoshop and edit them. Students will learn how to use editing tools to crop, paste, draw, paint, airbrush, "stamp", "smudge", and "dodge" a photograph.
