The Ministry of Education requires that courses offered by CEGEPs enable students to follow a specific and well-defined academic path. The Student Information Form allows the College to identify the status and goals of Independent Students. New Independent Students must complete this form prior to registration in order to receive a student I.D.
Canadian citizens and permanent residents who hold a Secondary V certificate or equivalent or who have been away from full-time secondary school for at least one year are eligible to register for courses in Career advancement.
A complete Student Information Sheet and one of the following is required in order to obtain an appointment to register:
- Canadian birth certificate,
- Canadian citizenship card,
- landed immigrant document,
- letter of acceptance as a Convention refugee.
All students enrolled in Independent Studies are charged course fees, regardless of their course load.
