Dawson Rowing Team wins gold

Congratulations to the Dawson College Rowing Team! Members of the young team brought back their first gold medal at a recent national regatta.

While many of the club’s athletes showed impressive results, rowers Jasmine Blais and Sophie Gottke took the gold in the senior women's doubles category with a time of 8:25.40 minutes, ahead of their closest competitors by more than 4 seconds.

The CSSRA Regatta took place June 1-3 in St. Catharines, Ontario and saw competitors from across the country compete at the collegiate and secondary level. This year’s event marked the 68th edition of the annual race.
