REMINDER – STLHE 2020: Celebrating 40 Years – Call for Proposals

The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) is pleased to partner with the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, and Collège La Cité to host the 2020 Annual Conference at the Shaw Convention Centre in beautiful downtown Ottawa from June 9 – 12, 2020. We invite you to participate in the 2020 STLHE Annual Conference. This year’s conference theme is Celebrating 40 Years: A Year of Celebration.

The call for proposals is now open.

La Société pour l’avancement de la pédagogie dans l’enseignement supérieur (SAPES) est heureuse de s’associer à l’Université d’Ottawa, à l’Université Carleton, au Collège Algonquin et au Collège La Cité pour organiser le Congrès annuel 2020 qui se déroulera au Shaw Convention Centre, dans le magnifique centre-ville d’Ottawa, du 9 au 12 juin 2020. 2018 LCEEQ  Annual Conference

February 12 & 13 at Sheraton Laval Hotel

In order to participate in the Conference please follow the two steps below:

STEP 1
Review the Conference program available at http://conference.lceeq.ca and apply to the Dawson LCEEQ liaison Azra Khan by December 16 for approval to attend. Dawson has an allocation of 10 delegates.

AQPC Colloque

The 38th AQPC symposium will be held June 6 to 8, 2018 in Saint-Hyacinthe.

CCDMD - Collegial Centre for Educational Materials Development

Dawson Faculty who are interested in developing learning resources (education materials) may apply for support from the CCDMD.

Support for your application is available from the OAD

 

“Educational materials,” refers to any type of print or digital resource used for learning or teaching one or more competencies in a program of study. The educational materials can be a textbook (print or digital ), a website, educational software or courseware, a pedagogical scenario, a series of photos or videos, a series of Netquiz exercises, etc.

The CCDMD Call for Projects is now Open

You can download the documents from the Call for Projects section of the CCDMD website.

The deadline is February 27 for institutional approval. If your project is accepted, with your valuable collaboration, the CCDMD hopes to produce new materials that will facilitate college teaching.

An explanatory video and a list of recently approved projects are available online.

Please note that all projects must have institutional approval before being submitted to the CCDMD.

Entente Canada-Québec Call for Proposals

The Entente Canada – Québec is a Federal/Provincial funding agreement whereby the Federal government transfers funds to the provinces to financially support projects originating in post-secondary minority language educational establishments. The principle focus of this particular granting agency is to fund projects that ameliorate, support or create new pedagogical tools, structures or designs.

ARPN Journal of Science and Technology

ARPN Journal of Science and Technology is an international, open-access journal that publishes research intensive articles, scientific manuscripts and survey based contributions focusing all aspects of science and technology. The objective of this journal is to bring together research fellows from academia and professional practitioners from industry to enlighten the latest topics of interest and building long lasting collaborations.  We welcome original research and industry experience papers. Contributions should be written for one of the following categories:

  • Original research
  • Literature Review / Systematic Literature Review
  • Short articles on ongoing research
  • Preliminary findings
  • Technical reports /notes

Results previously published in conferences and/or journals may be submitted as extended versions.
