Gilles Morissette

Gilles Morissette is a visual artist whose in situ and installation work examine the relationship between the body and the space in which it exists. He has an MFA from Concordia and a PhD from the Université of Paris. In 1989 he was guest artist at the famed Awagami papermaking workshops in Japan. Widely exhibited in Europe, Japan and North America, this versatile artist transforms the spaces his works inhabit into realms of the sacred. His work can be seen at: http://www.gillesmorissette.net
