Each semester the Dean of Creative and Applied Arts and the ALC Program recognize excellence in the production of the ALC Integrating Activity projects with a monetary prize and a certificate for the “Best IA Projects” in each IA class. The IA projects require students to design a creative work that integrates and synthesizes what they have learned in their profiles. Awards for the Winter semester are given during the ALC Festival during each individual profile’s IA event.

This year, students will also receive a Dawscar designed and created by Studio Arts students, with each award representing a specific profile. These Dawscars can be viewed in the metro-level display case alongside Festival posters made by Natalie Olenik’s students.
