He  believed in community and worked with organizations such as Kids Help Phone, Scouts Canada, and CCS. He later became involved with the Dawson College board of governors and was the chairperson of the board for two years.&#160; Bruno always had a kind word or deed for all (including strangers) and he was there for many people when they needed help.&#160;
