EQ HTML – Beginner
Prerequisite: Introduction to Macintosh or Windows or equivalent knowledge and familiarity with the internet
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to HTML, the markup language used to create web pages. Students will also be introduced to other elements that result in successful sites such as image preparation, page layout control, navigation and typography. By the end of the course, students will have learned the essentials of HTML and will have built a set of simple interactive web pages with embedded images, links and text. Other topics include: understanding the box model, organizing data with tables, building interactive forms, transferring your site to a web-server and a brief introduction to some HTML5 elements.
