{"id":2291,"date":"2017-08-25T10:45:35","date_gmt":"2017-08-25T14:45:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/facilities-management\/?page_id=2291"},"modified":"2026-02-02T16:27:39","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T21:27:39","slug":"dawson-id-card","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/facilities-management\/auxiliary-services\/dawson-id-card\/","title":{"rendered":"Dawson ID Card"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\t\t<style>\n\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t.dc_accordion .dc_accordion-body:before{\n\t\t\t\tdisplay: block;\n\t\t\t\theight: 10px;height: 1rem;\n\t\t\t\tcontent: \"\";\n\t\t\t}\n\n\t\t\t\n\n\n\t\t<\/style>\n\n\n\t\t<div id=\"dawson-student-id-card\" class=\"new dc_accordion  \"  ><h2 class=\"dc_accordion-title highlighta\" ><a class=\"\" style=\"\" href=\"#dawson-student-id-card\">Dawson Student ID Card<\/a><\/h2><div class=\"dc_accordion-body \" style=\"\" >\n        <style>\n\n        <\/style>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"faq-content\"><div class=\"dc_faq\" id=\"digital-student-id-photo\"><div class=\"dc_faq-title\"><button>Digital Student ID Photo<\/button><\/div><div class=\"dc_faq-body\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>New and returning Dawson students, who DO NOT HAVE a photo on file, are able to submit a picture using the Omnivox Mobile application on their smartphone.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Returning students, who do have a photo on file, will keep the existing image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The photos are used on the College file, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/campus-life-leadership\/opus-card\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OPUS Card<\/a> and Student ID Card.<\/li>\n<li>Please read this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/facilities-management\/photo-id-and-digital-student-id-card\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how-to page<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"faq-content\"><div class=\"dc_faq\" id=\"printed-student-id-card\"><div class=\"dc_faq-title\"><button>Printed Student ID Card<\/button><\/div><div class=\"dc_faq-body\">\n<ul>\n<li>Cards are printed: <strong>starting from, middle of February for Winter and middle of September for Fall semesters. <\/strong>It applies to all students, Day, Continuing Education and AEC.<\/li>\n<li>You need to have a finalized schedule and a digital Student ID photo on file, before you can receive your card.<\/li>\n<li>The digital Student ID photo needs to be submitted and accepted <strong>48 hours prior<\/strong> to requesting a card to be printed.<\/li>\n<li>Previously printed Student ID cards are valid, no need to be re-printed.<\/li>\n<li><strong> <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Lost \/ replacement card costs $10.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Student ID cards are printed at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/facilities-management\/auxiliary-services\/printshop-audio-visual\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2E.1 Printshop<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"faq-content\"><div class=\"dc_faq\" id=\"semester-validation-stickers\"><div class=\"dc_faq-title\"><button>Semester validation stickers<\/button><\/div><div class=\"dc_faq-body\">\n<ul>\n<li>No validation stickers are needed since Winter 2020.<\/li>\n<li>The card itself is valid for 5 years. Please attach a photo of yourself with a clear background.
