Rafael Scapin

Rafael Scapin works in the Information Systems and Technology (IST) department, specializing in Educational Technology. He earned a Ph.D. in Computational Physics and e-Learning, did research on educational intelligence and taught at the university level, while living in Brazil. Through the Faculty Hub, he helps teachers with online course creation, the use of tools like Moodle and Lea and recommends solutions and best practices for integrating teaching and technology. Rafael is the Dawson Information, Communication and Technology representative at Le Réseau des répondantes et répondants TIC or REPTIC. He has been on the organizing committee for the last four MoodleMoot Canada conferences and also organizes an annual Moodle Day at Dawson College.
