Join the Intercollegiate Decolonization Network for two virtual workshops with Kanien’keh\u00e1:ka educator Fran Beauvais, as part of the IDN’s Accountability Workshop series.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The IDN Accountability Workshops provide opportunities for C\u00e9gep faculty, staff and students to learn from First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis advocates and knowledge keepers about ethical engagement with Indigenous communities, respectfully teaching Indigenous content and responding to calls to action and principles of the Indigenous Education Protocol, TRC and Viens Commissions, National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Report and other best practices frameworks. We start with acknowledging our responsibilities to the traditional custodians of this territory.<\/p>\n Fran Beauvais is a Kanien’keh\u00e1:ka educator based in Kahnawake.
