This public database, including iconic (comics) and audiovisual productions (fictional or documentary films or television series), will from more than 80 entries shed light on how and by whom individuals with disabilities are portrayed in the Quebec media. It will also provide insight into the characteristics of these (self) representations and these people\/characters (diegetic role, gender, sexual orientation, occupation, perceived or real disability).<\/p>\n<p>Accessibility measures<br \/>\nLive captioning for the deaf and hard-of-hearing<br \/>\nSimultaneous interpretation from French to English<\/p>\n<p>*** We are committed to providing a barrier-free event.
