Fall 2024 Fees – Day Division

Overview

Fee Payment

  • All returning  students are required to pay their regular student fees in full by March 31, 2024 before registering for their courses.
  • New students will be invoiced the week of May 6, 2024 and fees will be due in full by May 31, 2024.
  • You will be able to pay your fees online through your MyDawson portal-payment center using either Visa Credit Card, MasterCard. Bank transfer is also possible. Please indicate Dawson College as the recipient and your student ID number as the payor.
  • Non-Quebec Resident and Foreign Student Fees, if applicable, will be assessed the first week of July 2024 and due August 16, 2024. You may check your MyDawson portal for any outstanding balance.
  • Other fees: Course out-of-program fees and part-time student fees will be assessed on the first day of class August 21, 2024.
  • Late payment fees of $25.00 will be applied to overdue accounts.

(1) For fees set by Dawson College (DC), a full-time student is one who registers for at least four courses or 180 hours of instruction in a given semester. For fees set at the Quebec Government (QG) level, a full-time student is one who registers for at least four courses or 180 hours in a program, or Fin de DEC/AEC, or students with major functional disabilities.

(2) Only if a student officially withdraws from the courses by  Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

(3) Only if a student officially withdraws from courses by Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Course Change Fee (non-refundable)

An additional fee of $20.00 is payable for each course change including section change and is due immediately upon course change. This fee does not apply to course changes required under academic regulations.

Late Registration Fee (non-refundable)

Students registering after their designated registration period shall be assessed an additional fee of $50.00.

Assessment of Fees

The fees are determined by Government Laws and Regulations and College Bylaws and are subject to change without prior notice. Up-to-date information on fees is available from the Administrative Services Department (Room 4B.5) during regular business hours or from the College Student Fees Web page.

Refunds

Refunds are not automatically issued.  Students may claim the refunds on their account. Refunds $500 and above will be issued by cheque. There are no cash refunds.  Requests for refunds must be made by e-mailing studentsfees@dawsoncolleg.qc.ca

Tax Receipts 2024

For tax compliant receipts, please ensure that you have added your S.I.N. to your account prior to printing your tax receipts.  Tax receipts will be available by February 28, 2025 via the MyDawson portal at: https://dawsoncollege.omnivox.ca
