2026 Semester Fees &#8211; Continuing Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Fee Payment<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All fees are due in full\u00a0upon registration.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Students who do not pay their course fees\u00a0may have their course registration cancelled and <strong>will remain liable for the non-refundable fees<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Late payment fees of $25 will be applied to overdue accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Methods of Payment<\/h2>\n<p>Payment can be made:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By credit card <strong>ONLY<\/strong> MasterCard or Visa through Omnivox via the Payment Center in your MyDawson portal.<\/li>\n<li>Through you bank as a bill payment by using your student I.D. number as the payee and Dawson College as the recipient.\u00a0 Please allow 3 to 5 working days for processing when making payment at an authorized banking institution in Canada.<\/li>\n<li>In-person at the Student Fee Counter in room 4B.5.<\/li>\n<li>In addition to fees below, all applicants to This fee does not apply to course changes required under academic regulations.<\/p>\n<h2>International Document Analysis\u00a0Fee<\/h2>\n<p>Program applicants presenting academic credentials from foreign jurisdictions will be required to pay an additional non-refundable fee of $50.00 for the analysis of their files.<\/p>\n<h2>Hourly Fee for Part-Time Students<\/h2>\n<p>Students who register part-time (fewer than 180 hours or 4 courses in their program) must pay <strong>$2.00 per course hour<\/strong>\u00a0upon registration.\u00a0 All students registering for Independent Studies (08702) are charged hourly course fees, regardless of the number of courses they are following.<\/p>\n<h2>Late Attendance Validation Fee<\/h2>\n<p>A fee of $25 will be applied to students who do not validate their attendance by the Attendance Validation deadline.<\/p>\n<p>See below for fees applicable to Canadians residing outside Quebec and to International students.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Fees for Students Residing Outside Quebec<\/h2>\n<h3>Canadian Students<\/h3>\n<p>Canadian citizens and landed immigrants who register in <strong>out-of-program courses or part-time<\/strong> in a program, and who are not Quebec residents, pay an additional amount of<strong> $7.13* per course<\/strong> hour for part-time studies. The fee is in addition to all other applicable fees including other hourly course fees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Full-time<\/strong> students in a program pay an amount of <strong>$1,870<\/strong>* per semester. This amount is in addition to other applicable fees (excluding hourly course fee).<\/p>\n<h3>International Students<\/h3>\n<p>International students who register in Independent Studies or part-time in a program pay an additional amount of <strong>$33.76* to $53.45*<\/strong> per course hour depending\u00a0 on their program\/course. The International Student fee is in addition to all other applicable fees including hourly course fees and other fees listed.<\/p>\n<p>Full-time students in a program pay an amount of $<strong>7,354* to $11,398<\/strong>* per semester depending on their program. This amount is in addition to other applicable fees (excluding hourly course fee). For detailed information, see <a href=\"\/finance\/student-fees\/international-student-fees\/\">International Student Fees<\/a><\/p>\n<p>International students in Continuing Education must have a visa valid until the <strong>end of May 2026<\/strong> for the institution they are attending.<\/p>\n<p><sup>*<\/sup>Refundable if a student officially withdraws from his\/her course(s) by <strong>Friday,\u00a0 February 13, 2026.<\/strong>\u00a0 Rates are preliminary and are subject to finalization by the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Commandite Students<\/h2>\n<p>Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/finance\/student-fees\/commandite-student-fees\/\">Commandite Students Fees<\/a> page<\/p>\n<h2>Convocation Fee<\/h2>\n<p>All potential graduates will be assessed a <strong>$20 convocation fee<\/strong> once per diploma or attestation.<\/p>\n<h2>Assessment of Fees<\/h2>\n<p>The fees are determined by Government Laws and Regulations and College Bylaws and are subject to change without prior notice. Up-to-date information on fees is available on\u00a0 the College Student Fees Web page.<\/p>\n<h2>Refunds<\/h2>\n<p>Refunds, when applicable,\u00a0 will be issued\u00a0 by cheque and mailed to the address in the student&#8217;s file. Students may also come to the Fee Counter room 4B.5 for an in-person refund of $500 or less. Please see our website for our hours.
