Mylène Saucier appointed Assistant Dean of SSBT

Mylène Saucier began her new position as Assistant Dean of Social Science and Business Technologies at the end of March. Prior to taking on this new role, Mylène had been a teacher in the Physiotherapy Technology program.

Mylène earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Exercise Science from Concordia University and received a Graduate Certificate in College Teaching from Université de Sherbrooke. She first came to Dawson as an athletic therapist and worked with the Dawson Blues as well as many other athletes—from elementary school up to the professional level. From 2010 to 2012, Mylène was project leader during the design and implementation of the Physiotherapy Technology program at Dawson. She was also instrumental in the creation of the Dawson College Health Clinic.

Mylène has a broader view of Dawson thanks to her past experience serving as chair and program coordinator of the Physiotherapy Technology program, her involvement in the active learning initiative, as a Dawson Senator and as the Board Secretary of the Dawson College Foundation.

Since her appointment, Mylène has proven to be an excellent addition to the Office of the Dean of Social Science and Business Technologies
