DawsonAI presents 2-part workshop on intelligent tutoring systems May 7

The DALC, DawsonAI, and Korbit Technologies invite the entire Dawson community to a talk by the CEO of Korbit Technologies (Iulian Serban), followed by a hands-on interactive workshop on the theme of intelligent tutoring systems.

When: Friday, May 7th 2021 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

The talk will end at around 3:20 PM and will be followed by the workshop.

Part 1: Talk Entitled “Reworking the World’s Education with Personalized AI Tutors” (from 2:30 PM to 3:20 PM, including a Q &A)

In this talk, Iulian Serban (CEO at Korbit Technologies) will introduce Korbit, discuss the start-up’s journey, show what personalized AI tutors are all about, discuss how they are being used at Dawson College and elsewhere, and provide his perspective on how they are going to transform education in the near future.

Part 2: Workshop

Join us for a hands-on interactive experience of the Korbit platform and a guided discussion on the future of intelligent tutoring systems and personalized learning.  During this workshop you will be exposed to machine learning topics with the Korbit virtual AI tutor and explore how your interactive experience can be personalized to maximize learning gains. Facilitators will lead groups of participants to critically reflect on the challenges and opportunities of personalized learning offered by intelligent tutoring systems.
