A Newsletter Just For You!

I am delighted to introduce the first edition of this new weekly newsletter for Dawson employees. We are happy to share it with you a week ahead of schedule.

At the Welcome Back Assembly in August, I mentioned that our Communications Office is working hard to enhance communication strategies and seeking ways to improve communications.

This newsletter is the first fruit of the Communications Advisory Board, which I created in September. The advisory group has met twice this semester. It has a consultative role to help guide the strategies and plans of the Communications Office.

In response to the announcement on Nov. 5 about the launch of the newsletter, many of you voted or submitted name suggestions. We have decided on D News as our newsletter name.
