Lump sum payment of $100 for students: Application procedure
When the Québec budget was presented on March 25, 2021, a lump sum payment of $100 per term for full-time college and university students was announced. The measure aims to acknowledge the difficulties experienced by the students during the COVID-19 health crisis during the fall 2020 and winter 2021 terms.
Eligible students will be asked to fill out an application for this lump sum payment. The application will be available on the Omnivox portal starting on July 5, 2021. Payments, by the government, will be made starting on September 15, 2021.
For students who prefer to complete this application in a printable paper format (PDF), a link to obtain this form will also be available from July 5, 2021 on Omnivox. Once completed, the form should be sent to the Registrar’s Office at email@example.com.
