The Curriculum Alignment Working Group consists of teachers from six technical programs who have been engaged in strengthening their program alignment. These faculty members reviewed and analyzed the way competencies were distributed in their own programs and courses through collaborative learning, group discussions, departmental consultations and independent work. The Curriculum Alignment Working Group consists of teachers from six technical programs who have been engaged in strengthening their program alignment. These faculty members reviewed and analyzed the way competencies were distributed in their own programs and courses through collaborative learning, group discussions, departmental consultations and independent work. They concluded with concrete proposals to improve the alignment within their program. Following a brief presentation of the curriculum alignment process, each teacher will share both the processes and results of their work and answer questions from the audience.
This presentation is recommended for any faculty who is a program coordinator or who is interested in the processes of curriculum alignment to improve program coherence.
