The awards showcase the extraordinary contribution of individuals to their college\/institute communities and highlight the role these institutions play in social, cultural and economic development.<\/p>\n<p>There are ten awards of excellence categories, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership Excellence Award for Students<\/li>\n<li>Leadership Excellence Award for Faculty<\/li>\n<li>Leadership Excellence Award for Staff<\/li>\n<li>Applied Research and Innovation Excellence Award<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nominees can include entire institutions, staff, faculty, managers or students depending on the category.<\/p>\n<p>Nomination forms are available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.collegesinstitutes.ca\/what-we-do\/awards\/\">CI Canada website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For Dawson institutional support, forms must be submitted to Azra Khan at <a  href=\"mailto:&#97;&#107;ha&#110;&#64;&#100;aw&#115;&#111;ncol&#108;&#101;&#103;&#101;&#46;&#113;c&#46;c&#97;\">&#97;kha&#110;&#64;&#100;a&#119;soncoll&#101;g&#101;.q&#99;.&#99;a<\/a> at least 10 business days before the submission deadline.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<div id=\"collegial-centre-for-educational-materials-development-ccdmd\" class=\"new dc_accordion  \"  ><h2 class=\"dc_accordion-title highlighta\" ><a class=\"\" style=\"\" href=\"#collegial-centre-for-educational-materials-development-ccdmd\">Collegial Centre for Educational Materials Development (CCDMD)<\/a><\/h2><div class=\"dc_accordion-body \" style=\"\" ><p>The Centre coll\u00e9gial de d\u00e9veloppement de mat\u00e9riel didactique (CCDMD) is a publisher of digital and printed educational resources for the Quebec college network. Dawson Faculty who are interested in developing learning resources\/educational materials may apply for support from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccdmd.qc.ca\/eng\/call-projects\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CCDMD<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Educational materials refers to any type of print or digital resource used for learning or teaching one or more competencies in a program of study. The educational materials can be a textbook (print or digital), a website, educational software or courseware, a pedagogical scenario, a series of photos or videos, a series of Netquiz exercises, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 2025-2026 call for projects opens in November 2025. <\/strong>Please visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/ccdmd.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=c8b8f4dc3264110b1b2d02c79&amp;id=74ff75d618&amp;e=c60405430a\">Call for Projects<\/a> page of the CCDMD website for more information and to submit a proposal.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that <strong>all projects must have institutional approval before being submitted <\/strong>to the CCDMD.
