A continuaci\u00f3n se dio inicio el Panel de Discusio\u0301n, de Planteles Educativos\u00a0<\/span>Sustentables, dentro de este espacio acad\u00e9mico de discusi\u00f3n se abordaron las\u00a0<\/span>acciones que los integrantes del Proyecto hacen para promover la sustentabilidad en los mismos.<\/span><\/p>\n Comenzo el panel, la Coordinadora General la Dra. Gisela Fr\u00edas dio una peque\u00f1a\u00a0<\/span>introducci\u00f3n sobre el proyecto de Planteles Educativos Sustentables al p\u00fablico que\u00a0<\/span>de manera inquieta por conocer m\u00e1s de este proyecto se dio cita en el salon 3F43,\u00a0<\/span>dicho recinto nos alberg\u00f3 durante estos 5 d\u00edas, siendo testigo de este tan\u00a0<\/span>importante 4to Foro: Arar, Sembrar y Cosechar, Planteles Educativos Sustentables.<\/span><\/p>\n Continuamos con esa inercia de saberes compartidos y ahora era el turno de la\u00a0<\/span>Dra. Ruth Belinda Bustos, con el tema: la Sustentabilidad y los agentes de cambio:\u00a0<\/span>Caso de la UPN, inici\u00f3 su pl\u00e1tica d\u00e1ndonos a conocer las caracter\u00edsticas generales\u00a0<\/span>de la Universidad Pedag\u00f3gica del Estado de Morelos (UPN), en la cual se forman\u00a0<\/span>docentes para impartir classes. Comenta sobre las acciones que se est\u00e1n\u00a0<\/span>realizando dentro de la Universidad, como fue el taller de la sustentabilidad y el\u00a0<\/span>jard\u00edn por la salud, que durante este proceso se gener\u00f3 la vinculaci\u00f3n con Dawson\u00a0<\/span>College, abord\u00f3 temas sobre la capacidad de los ciudadanos activos, para\u00a0<\/span>organizarse y poder enfrentar, la indignaci\u00f3n que les causa el presente y por\u00a0<\/span>consecuencia transforma su entorno social en la vida buena para todos; utilizando\u00a0<\/span>sus saberes, movilizando recursos y asumiendo un posicionamiento social\u00a0<\/span>propositivo.<\/span><\/p>\n Por \u00faltimo se realiz\u00f3 la clausura a cargo de la Dra. Gisela Fr\u00edas y Max Jones, el\u00a0<\/span>mensaje que dieron nos da la esperanza que todo lo que se est\u00e1 realizando esta\u00a0<\/span>bien, pero todav\u00eda falta mucho por hacer.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We started the day with a discussion about how to make a small green wall at Dawson College. The do-it-yourself course was given by MARGAUX ISMAN OF MANTIS ENVIRONNEMENTALE. During this talk we participated in a practical way in the construction of a small green wall, which will help to harmonize an office in the College, thus creating a favorable work environment which can generate new and excellent ideas about sustainability on campus. Congratulations to the inhabitant of the office, he will have a part of nature at his fingertips.<\/span><\/p>\n Next, a Discussion Panel on Sustainable Campuses was started. \u00a0During the panel, the actions that the institutional members of the Sustainable Campuses Initiative do to promote sustainability were discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n The panel began, the General Coordinator, Dr. Gisela Frias, gave a small introduction about the Sustainable Campuses Initiative. We all met to learn more about this project in room 3F43, the room that sheltered us during these 5 days, witnessing this important 4th Forum: Plowing, Sowing and Harvesting, Sustainable Campuses.<\/span><\/p>\n We continued sharing knowledge and now came the turn of Dr. Ruth Belinda Bustos, with the theme: Sustainability and agents of change: the Case of the UPN. She began her talk by letting us know the general characteristics of the Universidad Pedag\u00f3gica del Estado de Morelos (UPN), in which they form teachers. \u00a0She commented on the actions that are being done within the University such as the sustainability workshops and the health garden and how these were linked to a shared project with Dawson College. She spoke about how these projects have strengthened the capacity of students to be active citizens, to be organized and able to face the indignation caused by our present and consequently be able to \u00a0transform their social environment into a good life for all; using their knowledge, mobilizing resources and assuming a proactive social positioning.<\/span><\/p>\n Finally, the closing ceremony was carried out by Dr. Gisela Frias and Max Jones, they\u00a0<\/span>gave us a message of hope and that everything that is being done is good, but there is still a lot that needs to be done.<\/span><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/sustainable-campuses\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/148\/WhatsApp-Image-2018-04-20-at-12.31.51-PM.jpeg\")
La primera participaci\u00f3n fue de la m\u00e1s joven integrante de la delegaci\u00f3n mexicana,\u00a0<\/span>Casandra Venegas con el tema sobre las Acciones que realiza la Universidad\u00a0<\/span>Polite\u0301cnica del Estado de Morelos (UPEMOR) en Materia de la Sustentabilidad,\u00a0<\/span>primero nos dio un panorama general de c\u00f3mo est\u00e1 conformada la Universidad\u00a0<\/span>sobre su oferta educativa, coment\u00f3 sobre el Programa ambiental que tienen desde\u00a0<\/span>el a\u00f1o 2007, tambi\u00e9n habl\u00f3 sobre los compromisos ambientales que tiene el\u00a0<\/span>plantel, tiene una certificaci\u00f3n de calidad ambiental, promueve la cultura\u00a0<\/span>ambiental, tambi\u00e9n realiza acciones que no alteren el medio ambiente, tambi\u00e9n\u00a0<\/span>coment\u00f3 sobre el CECAM, Centro de Capacitaci\u00f3n, Ambiental, Gesti\u00f3n y\u00a0<\/span>Sustentabilidad, comenta sobre todas las acciones que hacen para el cuidado del\u00a0<\/span>medio ambiente y fomentar la sustentabilidad.<\/span><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca\/sustainable-campuses\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/148\/WhatsApp-Image-2018-04-20-at-9.43.45-PM.jpeg\")
A continuaci\u00f3n le toc\u00f3 el turno al Mtro. Jorge Viana con el tema La Escuela\u00a0<\/span>Preparatoria Comunitaria de Tres Mari\u0301as, Universidad Aut\u00f3noma del estado de\u00a0<\/span>Morelos (UAEM) como agente de cambio en Huitzilac, nos di\u00f3 un panorama\u00a0<\/span>general sobre la Universidad, tambi\u00e9n coment\u00f3 sobre aspectos generales de la\u00a0<\/span>escuela, mencion\u00f3 sobre los retos y logros que han tenido como integrante del\u00a0<\/span>Proyecto Planteles Educativos Sustentables, los cambios que han realizado\u00a0<\/span>dentro de su infraestructura para cuidar el ambiente, habl\u00f3 de los proyectos\u00a0<\/span>sustentables que se realizan dentro de la misma y su relaci\u00f3n con la comunidad,\u00a0<\/span>como fue el caso de la ayuda que dieron profesores de la escuela a damnificados\u00a0<\/span>de la zona de Tres Mar\u00edas como del centro y parte alta de morelos. Esto tambi\u00e9n\u00a0<\/span>es parte de la sustentabilidad.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first presentation was done by the youngest member of the Mexican delegation,\u00a0<\/span>Casandra Venegas, with the topic \u201cActions that the Universidad\u00a0<\/span>Polite\u0301cnica del Estado de Morelos (UPEMOR) carries out in terms of Sustainability\u201d. First, she gave us an overview of how the University and its academic programs. She commented on the environmental program that they have since 2007. \u00a0She also talked about the environmental commitments that the campus has made, its environmental quality certification, its promotion of environmental culture, and also about its actions aimed at not altering the environment. She commented on the CECAM; \u00a0Environmental, Management and Sustainability Training Center and on all the actions that they do to take to care for the environment and promote sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\nAfterwards, came the turn of Professor Jorge Viana who spoke about the Preparatoria Comunitaria de Tres Mar\u00edas, Universidad Aut\u00f3noma del estado de Morelos \u00a0(UAEM) as an agent of change in Huitzilac. He gave us an overview about the University, also commented on general aspects of the school. He mentioned the challenges and achievements that they have had as members of the Sustainable Campuses Initiative, the changes that have in terms of the infrastructure and their work to take care of the environment. He spoke about the sustainability projects that are carried out within it and its relationship with the community. He spoke of the assistance that teachers from the school have given to those affected by the earthquake in the area of Tres Mar\u00edas, as well as the central and higher part of the state of Morelos. This too is part of sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n
