Campus Access & Essential Info

Before Coming to the College

  • You must complete the COVID-19 Symptom-based Screening Questionnaire each day you come to the College
    • Students: look for the form in Omnivox (My Dawson Portal) under Student Services
    • Employees: look for the form in Omnivox (My Dawson Portal) under Non-Academic Services
    • On the mobile app of Omnivox, you have to tap Omnivox web version
    • Others who must come to the College: fill out the self-declaration in English here or en français ici to be allowed to enter the College
  • If you answer yes to any of the first set of questions or yes to any two of the second set of questions, do not come to the College. You will be contacted for next steps.
  • If you are cleared to come to the College, please bring:
    • Your Dawson College I.D. card* (print or electronic) or your student/employee number if you do not have one yet
    • Everyone on site must wear a mask. Upon arrival, you will be asked to swap out your personal mask for a new procedural mask provided by the College.
    • There are particular protocols for various situations (see Health and Hygiene section).
    • A water bottle
Note*Employees can get their Dawson College I.D. card in the Print Shop (2E.1) and students can get an electronic Dawson College I.D. card. More information here: https://www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca/facilities-management/auxiliary-services/dawson-id-card/

 

  • On campus:
    • Wear masks while circulating
    • Stay in your study/work area and use the bathrooms in your area
    • Clean your study/work station when leaving (College provides products)
    • No food services available
    • Vending machines will be stocked
  • Parking:
    • $10/day cash only
    • Pay at Security 2E
    • Available for employees only
    • First-come first-served basis
    • Only 35 spots available
    • Staff and faculty can opt out for one semester
