Fall Registration Fees - Day Division

Registration Payment

  • Students who finalize their course selection by Internet or telephone are encouraged to pay their fees immediately by credit card. Those who do not select the credit card option are required to pay within ten (10) calendar days.
  • Other students must pay their fees in full by cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, money order or cheque when registering. Post dated cheques will not be accepted.
  • Late payment fees of $25.00 will be applied to overdue accounts.

(1) For fees set by Dawson College (DC), a full-time student is one who registers for at least four courses or 180 hours of instruction in a given semester. For fees set at the Quebec Government (QG) level, a full-time student is one who registers for at least four courses or 180 hours in a program, or Fin de DEC/AEC, or students with major functional disabilities.

(2) Except for optional Physical Education course fees (details are in the timetable), refundable fees are reimbursed in full when a student officially withdraws from the College no later than the course drop deadline as determined by QG (September 20, 2011). Otherwise the fees are not refunded.

Course Change Fee (non-refundable)

An additional fee of $20.00 is payable for course change. This fee does not apply to course changes required under academic regulations.

Late Registration Fee (non-refundable)

Students registering after their designated registration period shall be assessed an additional fee of $50.00.

Assessment of Fees

The fees are determined by Government Laws and Regulations and College Bylaws and are subject to change without prior notice. Up-to-date information on fees is available from the Administrative Services Department (Room 4B.5) during regular business hours or from the College Student Fees Web page.

Tax Receipts

Will be available by February 29, 2012 via our My Dawson Web-portal at:
