This year, the funds raised from the evening went to Dawson’s Financial Aid Office. The evening brought in $9,335.00, $5,280 of which came from the actual painting sales. Once the 10% of the money raised from the paintings was paid out to the artists, $8,795 was donated to the cause. This year was the first year a virtual reality painting was introduced. It was also the first time we had a professional painting donated by local artist and Dawson faculty, Neal Armstrong, as a raffle prize. There were many strong and talented student artists involved this year.
