CRC Robotics 2020

February 13th - 15th, 2020

The Canadian Robotics Competition (CRC) is an annual event open to high schools and CEGEPS in the greater Montreal region. It is a multi-disciplinary event with the objective of building a robot, themed kiosk, website and short video. The 2019-2020 season will represent Dawson College’s tenth consecutive year participating. A growing number of students from various disciplines are attracted to it each year. Many have had prior exposure to the CRC in high school and have come to expect it as an option here at Dawson.

This year, the competition named Flip Flop.  It ran for three days and was hosted at Vanier College.

More than fifteen students from various disciplines including Industrial Design, Pure and Applied, Computer Science, and Mechanical Technology participated in this year’s competition.

We are proud that Dawson's Robotic Team came in 4th place in this competition, an impressive feat considering there were over twenty-six other teams.
