Open Studio Life Drawing 2019 SUMMER SESSION

June 12th - July 24th, 2019

The Open Studio Live Model project is an essential part of our students’ life drawing practice. It provides all students with an opportunity to practice their drawing skills and refine their observational abilities while drawing from live models. These weekly drawing sessions enables students and alumni to continue drawing during the summer months and also network with each other.

Project Update

These drawing sessions were offered in the summer of 2019 for 6 weeks, one day per week and were highly recommended by faculty. Regular drawing from live models should be a regular part of the curriculum of all artistic programs but due to a wide scope of demands on the students and the increase of technology, this has not been possible to maintain. These drawing sessions therefore, benefitted and helped all art students who availed themselves to attend them.
