Student AccessAbility Centre
The Student AccessAbility Centre’s team is transitioning to an online service while the campus remains closed.
If you are already using the service, you should have received a MIO on behalf of the SAAC inviting you to contact your counsellor if you have any questions or concerns regarding the transition to an online platform and your accommodations. They are available to you by MIO and upon request, they can meet with you, either online by using the Microsoft Teams application or by telephone.
The Student AccessAbility Centre has also reached out to faculty inviting them to contact their student’s Adapted Services counsellor should they have concerns or questions on how to implement an accommodation or how to support their students registered with the SAAC as they transition to an e-learning platform.
If you require assistance, please contact your counsellor by MIO or send us an email at aasecretary@dawsoncollege.qc.ca

COVID-19 and Note-taking:
Note-Taker (student providing notes):
We are asking, if feasible, that students continue their role as Note-takers. Please communicate with the student(s) requiring the notes to see what the best way is to share your notes with them (email, MIO, etc.)
- For payment, please address your questions to aasecretary@dawsoncollege.qc.ca
Note-Takee (student requiring notes):
Note-takers are asked to continue their role as your Note-taker and to share their notes with you. Please communicate with your Note-taker to see what the best way is to receive their notes. However, it’s important to realize that it may no longer be feasible for your note-taker to provide you with their notes. If you have any concerns, please advise your counsellor.
