“BRIDGES” Across Time, Space and Cultures in TOKYO, JAPAN

May 27th - June 10th, 2019

South Star Design is inviting Dawson’s 3D Animation & CGI and Industrial Design students to collaborate on a project that will be presented in Midtown Tokyo Design district on May 31st, 2019. 3D animation students and Industrial Design students will be teaming up together to create a presentation inspired by the 2019’s exhibition theme, “BRIDGES” and they will have the opportunity to be evaluated by industry representatives. We are lucky that one of these representatives is Fernando Petulli, a Dawson 1997 Alumni graduate from Illustration & Design. The teams must retell a Japanese Folk story with a Canadian twist and submit their projects to South Star Design in March to be evaluated. The teams will be able to present in Hinokicho Park, 9丁目-7-7 Akasaka, Minato, Tokyo 107-0052, Japan on May 31, 2019.
