Interview with Community Activist Mostafa Henaway

October 28th, 2021

Students in “Applied Geography” (teacher Sarah Louise Kendall), conducted and recorded a class-wide interview with Mostafa Henaway of the Immigrant Workers Center, about the intersections of essential work and immigration in Montreal. After the interview, the students transcribed and edited excerpts of this interview to help produce their own  written and audio journalism story about immigration policies in Canada, the experiences of migrant workers in Montreal, and local organizing for labour rights and migrant justice.
