Important locker notice

Please clean out your locker and return your lock to the Student Affairs office (2E.6) before Thursday, May 23rd, 2013. The office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Lockers must be emptied by May 23rd. No exceptions (Unless you are an AEC student).

As of Monday, May 27th, items left in lockers will be discarded.

Two Mechanical Engineering students awarded at Science on tourne!

Maxime Xiang-St-Arnault and Nissanka Nilank Mendis received le Prix du mérite, a $1000 award from the Fédération des cégeps during the Science on tourne! national finale that took place on May 3^rd and 4^th at the Cégep de l’Abitibi-Temiscamingue.

The challenge this year was to build a crane that used mechanical energy to lift weight from the ground. Maxime and Nilanka distinguished themselves from the others with their crane named “Maxi-Grue (Gruesome)”, a clever and efficient machine that used an old hockey stick made of carbon. Congratulations to our Dawson students!

The Winter 2013 Final Examination schedule is now online

The final examination period for Day students is from Monday, May 13, 2013 to Thursday, May 23, 2013 while for Continuing Education students, exams begin Saturday, May 11, 2013 and end on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

2012 Tuition Tax Receipts

The 2012 tuition tax receipts (T2202A and Relevé 8) are now available through the MyDawson portal. To obtain your receipt, log into your portal and select "Tuition Tax Receipts" under "My Omnivox Services".

Please ensure your social insurance number (S.I.N.) is added to your file before you retrieve your tax receipts. Just sign into your MyDawson portal and go under "My Ominvox Services" and then select "Personal File" and click on "Social Insurance Number". Then add your 9 digit S.I.N. Finally confirm with your MyDawson password.

Tuition tax receipts will not be mailed unless a request is made at Student Fees in room 4B.5 or by calling 514-931-8731, local 1387.
