Update on water situation at Dawson

May 24, 2013 - The boil water advisory issued by the Cities of Westmoun and Montreal was lifted at 10:15 p.m. Thursday. That means that the supply of drinking water is safe.

At Dawson, taps will be turned back on throughout the building and flushed so that drinking water can be consumed from fountains and the True Source water stations.

Director General's Awards for Teaching Excellence announced

The Director General is pleased to announce the names of the recipients of the annual Teaching Excellence Awards for 2012-2013.

• Mary Ann Hoskin (Diagnostic Imaging) is the recipient in the Careers sector.
• Andrew Katz (English) is the recipient in the General Education sector.
• In the Pre-University sector, the recipients are Rajesh Malik (Social Science & Arts / Psychology) and Chris Whittaker (Science / Physics).

The recipients of the Director General's Awards for Teaching Excellence are recognized at Convocation which will be held this year on June 18 at Place des Arts' Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier.

Attention Day students -- student fees for Fall are due!

In the coming weeks, your regular student fees ($140.00) for the Fall 2013 semester will need to be paid in full.

2012 Tuition Tax Receipts

The 2012 tuition tax receipts (T2202A and Relevé 8) are now available through the MyDawson portal. To obtain your receipt, log into your portal and select "Tuition Tax Receipts" under "My Omnivox Services".

Please ensure your social insurance number (S.I.N.) is added to your file before you retrieve your tax receipts. Just sign into your MyDawson portal and go under "My Ominvox Services" and then select "Personal File" and click on "Social Insurance Number". Then add your 9 digit S.I.N. Finally confirm with your MyDawson password.

Tuition tax receipts will not be mailed unless a request is made at Student Fees in room 4B.5 or by calling 514-931-8731, local 1387.
