As an artist, receiving the Bertrand A. Henry Memorial Award means that our work is being seen. It is a meaningful reminder that the stories we tell, the risks we take and the effort we pour into our craft can resonate with others. This recognition encourages me to continue pushing myself, growing as an artist, and working even harder. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my peers and our teachers, whose guidance, encouragement, and belief in my work have helped me reach this moment.
