This award has profound meaning to me, not only for its financial support but for what it represents: strength, courage, and the fight for women’s freedom and equality. It reminds me that people see potential in students like me who are doing their best to keep moving forward. As an immigrant student aspiring to study aerospace engineering and become an astronaut, I am committed to paving the way for BIPOC women in this underrepresented field. This scholarship lifts a huge weight off my family and reminds me that there are people who believe in what I’m striving for.
