I have spent years watching my mother raise my siblings and I, and it was definitely not easy for her. However, she is the absolute strongest woman I have ever met, who has overcome so many obstacles. This award is not only financially assisting me but will help lift a weight off my mother’s shoulders. I am extremely honoured to have been chosen as one of the recipients.
