With this award, I aim to show that student 3D Science Fiction films can be more than alien invasions, ridiculously long action sequences, and the glorification of visual spectacle. Instead, nuance and relatability to our simple daily lives are what I seek to convey. There is much more I would like to say, which I hope will be successfully communicated through my future films.
