That I was even considered for this award is an honour. However, being named one of its recipients makes me feel truly grateful. I thank Dawson College for providing me with a safe space to grow and to learn. I also thank my languages professors for being a source of guidance and motivation for me. Finally, I thank my mother for instilling in me a passion for language, one of the most powerful inventions ever.
