Peter Cooperman has a Master’s degree in counselling from McGill. He runs the Mentor Program which helps first year students make the transition to studying at Dawson. He also works with students in the areas of Career Counselling, overcoming Public Speaking Anxiety, improving Time Management Skills and dealing with Test/ Exam Anxiety.

Lisa Courte holds a Master’s Degree in Education from McGill University and is a licensed psychotherapist with the Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec. Ms. Courte joined the Counselling team at the college in 2012. She brings over 20 years of clinical experience working with young adults and their families.

She has been with the college since 2007. Prior to her arrival at the college, Johanne worked as a front-line worker for various community organizations.

Kelly Ann Morel holds a Master’s degree in counselling psychology from McGill University and is a licensed psychologist with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She has been with the college since 2009. Kelly Ann has over 20 years experience, working in various college and university counselling centers, as well as in private practice.

Marion Murphy

Marion Murphy holds a Master’s degree in counselling psychology from McGill University and is a licensed psychologist with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. Since 1984 Marion has been a teacher at the college and then worked as a professional in the Academic Skills Centre. Over the years, she served on many committees and was elected to serve as a member of the Executive and of the Board of Governors (2000-2006). Since 1993, she has counselled students in Dawson’s Counselling and Career Development Services; she also enjoyed coordinating the Dawson Mentor Program for over two decades.
