Who Are We?
Peter Cooperman received a Masters degree in counselling from McGill University in 1986. He is a licensed counsellor and a member of the ordre des conseilleres et conseilleres d’orientation du Quebec. He is currently working exclusively in the area of career counselling and is the co-ordinator of Dawson’s Career Resource Centre, room 6D.5 (library, 2nd floor).
Lisa Courte holds a Master’s Degree in Education from McGill University and is a licensed psychotherapist with the Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec. Ms. Courte joined the Counselling team at the college in 2012. She brings over 20 years of clinical experience working with young adults and their families.
Patricia Dawes holds a Master’s degree in counselling psychology from McGill University and is a licensed psychologist with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She has been with the college since 2008. Patricia has over 20 years experience working in various mental health settings.
Erin Dunne holds a PhD in clinical psychology from Concordia University and is a licensed psychologist with the Order des psychologues du Québec. She has experience working with students in a variety of mental health services, as well as in an academic setting during her time as a psychology professor at Concordia and Bishop’s University.
Kelly Ann Morel holds a Master’s degree in counselling psychology from McGill University and is a licensed psychologist with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She has been with the college since 2009. Kelly Ann has over 20 years experience, working in various college and university counselling centers, as well as in private practice.
Phani Papachristou holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling Psychology and is a Licensed Psychotherapist with the Ordre de Psychologues du Quebec. Prior to her arrival at Dawson College, Phani worked as a Psychotherapist and Guidance Counsellor at Vanier College and supported students with their personal and career challenges.
