I am truly honored to receive this award that commemorates Anne-Marie’s legacy and her passion for nursing. As a nursing student, and as the eldest daughter in a family of five children, this bursary means a lot to me. I strive to be a motivated nurse caring for others with empathy and professionalism. This award inspires me to continue striving for excellence academically and in clinical settings. Financially, it will allow me to focus more fully on my studies and my knowledge as a future nurse, easing the burden of educational expenses, and I am grateful for it.
