Welcome to the Dawson College Scholarships and Awards page. This page contains information on scholarships and awards that are offered through Dawson College and by external organizations.

Dawson College wishes to thank the generosity of individuals, companies and organizations who make these awards possible.

Internal-Offered through Dawson College

AYTF Scholarships (2-4 awards of $250-$500) – Offered to students  based on   academic merit and financial need.  For example, the selection criteria include academic and extra-curricular performance, social leadership and family income.  Deadline: October 28

Anastasia De Sousa Award(1 award of $1500)- This scholarship is awarded to a student who has overcome one or more major obstacles on the road to academic success at Dawson College. It will be awarded to a student who has completed at least one year of studies at Dawson College.  Deadline: October 28

DTUEngineeringAPPLIC-16– This scholarship is awarded annually to women students in their first year of the following Technology Programs: Laboratory – Analytical Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering at Dawson College. The scholarship is given over the three years of the program, to the tune  ( 1 award of $800 renewable for up to 2 years). Deadline: October 28

Glay Sperling Award(1 award of $750)- For 2nd year CALL/ACL students- Deadline: October 28

RFCM Scholarships-2 to 4 scholarships of amounts in between $500 and $1000 are available to students who demonstrate excellence, dedication and show commitment to their studies, to college life and extracurricular activities inside the class room as well as contribute to their school and community.


External- Offered by outside organizations

TD Scholarships for Community Leadership ( 12 awards of 70,000) are designed to recognize the achievements of youth who are making a difference and help them realize their educational goals.  These awards  are given to students who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community


Foundation de l’Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (various awards of $2000)- A scholarship program that aims to inspire and help Cégeps students become future engineers.


Superkutz Scholarship Foundation- Scholarships to deserving students from the Greater Montreal area on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.


Prix de la nouvelle Radio-Canada 2017 Writing contest available to amateur and professional writers
