As someone who struggles with self-doubt, this award is a reminder that I am capable of success and that my curiosity is truly my greatest strength. This experience has shown me that my interest in the work of others allows me to learn much more than I ever could on my own. It is a skill that has been quite useful in my studies in biomedical engineering thus far and that I hope will allow me to design innovative devices that will positively impact the lives of others.
