Français Échelle Québécoise (FEQ)

Our FEQ courses are aligned with the Français Échelle Québécoise – the government’s official scale for French as a second language competencies.

These courses provide the best instruction if you are:

• a CEGEP student needing to satisfy the new language requirements under law 14;
• preparing to pass a French test (for immigration, for example);
• looking for a serious, assessment-based course to level up your French skills.

Levels currently offered: 

1 – 40 hours

2, 3 – 80 hours

4, 5, 6, 7 – 100 hours

Workshop courses

We offer both online and in-person courses, to suit your schedule and preference.

Courses are 40 hours.

Levels beginner + 1 through 6.

Professional French

Our professional French courses target specific skills.

Courses are up to 40 hours and cover a variety of topics, as available.

TEF test preparation

Our testing centre offers both a TEF prep course and opportunities to take the official test.

Private Tutoring (Online)

• The teacher will provide one-on-one instruction, tailored to the individual student’s needs.
• The tutoring will feature oral activities and directed conversation practice that focuses on specific aspects of French usage, including vocabulary building, increased oral comprehension, correct use of various grammatical concepts as well as development of fluency and pronunciation.

To create a schedule that fits your needs, please let us know specific dates on the calendar (excluding holidays) as well as your preferred time slots so that we can coordinate the schedule accordingly.

Private tutoring sessions are offered at a rate of $75 per hour. We can provide up to 10 sessions.

If you would like to have additional sessions, a separate agreement will need to be made.

Once the schedule is confirmed, we will ask you to proceed with the payment. Upon payment, you will also receive detailed information on how to connect to your sessions.

Additionally, the tutor will contact you to discuss your learning needs and create a plan to reach your specific goals. The same tutor will be prioritized for all sessions to ensure as much continuity as possible.

Please note that once the schedule (dates and times) has been confirmed by all parties, sessions can no longer be canceled. Exceptions may apply for medical reasons. In such a case, a medical note must be provided to the CTD if a period of 5 sessions is missed, and a new training period will be discussed based on the availability of the student and the tutor.
