Dawson College recognizes the vital role that our institution can play in promoting international development activities that enrich the experiences of our students, faculty and staff, contributing to our extended community. Dawson College is committed to the pursuit of new initiatives and aims to forge international partnerships to benefit students and faculty, in addition to nurturing existing agreements in South America, Europe, and Asia.

The International Development Office cultivates institutional partnerships abroad and offers exchange opportunities to promote transformative experiences for students and faculty that help foster global consciousness within our institution and community. The International Development Office is committed to the pursuit of its activities with a spirit of entrepreneurship, public service and innovation.

In 2007, Dawson College entered a partnership with Beijing Normal University (Beijing, China) and became the home of the Confucius Institute in Quebec and offers language and culture courses to a diverse population of students!
