Prerequisite: French as a second language – level 4 or equivalent
Overall Goals :

1. This course is intended for all Francophiles.
2. To take this course, it is necessary to have a good knowledge of the language.
3. This course will allow you to discover different aspects of Quebec culture and the French-speaking world.
4. Among the proposed themes are: renovations, advertising, media, telephone communication, health.

• Extracts from books

Required Material:

Students may choose to purchase either a digital book or a paper book, not both.
The purchase should only be made after the first class.

• Device: PC (Windows 11) or Mac OS 13 (Ventura or newer).
  Laptops or desktops are recommended for full functionality.

  Students may be able to participate using Chromebooks or tablets, but features may be limited.

• Internet Connection: Minimum – 10 Mbps download / 2 Mbps upload.
  Recommended – 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.

  Wired internet connection is preferred for stability.

• Audio & Video: Headphones or earbuds with a microphone.
  Webcam (built-in or external) is recommended.

Web Browser: The latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Safari.
