Junk Journaling


Course Description

In this 2 week, workshop style course you will explore the idea and practice of junk journaling. Think scrapbooking, but less pressure and more creativity!

You will be introduced to a form of storytelling, self-expression, and low-stakes crafting that helps you capture your thoughts and personal history, and introduces you to the concept of ephemera in a hands-on environment.

Course Materials
Scissors, magazines, paper and other books will be provided for collaging. Please bring the following:

  • Hard or soft cover journal
  • Ephemera that you collect leading up to the course: receipts, menus, promotional cards, tickets, wrappers, napkins, coasters, etc.
  • Glue stick(s) and / or double sided tape
  • Pens, markers, in your choice of colours
