Let’s Plan in Office

Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office

This course is designed for individuals seeking to effectively manage plans and tasks using Office 365 Planner. Planner is a powerful tool for team management, allowing teams to create plans, organize tasks, delegate responsibilities, share files, engage in chats, and track progress updates.

The hands-on, in-class approach enables students to gain proficiency and confidence in using Planner.

  • An overview of how Planner can manage your workload
  • Creating and organizing teams
  • Efficiently managing team tasks
  • Building comprehensive plans
  • Demonstrations of Plans, Cards, Buckets, and Labels
  • Creating Tasks and Assigning them to team members
  • Effective task management techniques
  • Editing Plan Settings
  • Reviewing deadlines and progress with Charts and the Dashboard
  • Changing views for different perspectives
  • Creating plans within Microsoft Teams
  • Creating new plans within the same group
  • Exporting a Plan to Excel for further analysis
  • Syncing your Planner schedule with Outlook Calendar

NOTE: Our non-credit courses are not graded. A Certificate of participation will be awarded to students who attend and participate in a minimum of 80% of the classes.
