Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Plagiarism and Academic Writing.

In this webinar we will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on academic integrity and plagiarism. Specifically, we will look at algorithmic writing technologies such as Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3 (GPT-3), what these are, how they work, and how they are being used by industry, professional writers, and students. We will examine the impact of artificial intelligence writing apps for plagiarism and contemplate how to use such technologies ethically for teaching, learning, and assessment.
