This course is designed for intermediate-level learners to build the significance of strengthening and expanding knowledge of the Chinese language for future learning.

Prerequisites or prior knowledge

• Chinese character Level 2A

Teaching & Learning Activities

Students will participate in reading out words and texts and take part in comprehensive oral and written activities, including role-play to simulate dialogues and acquire grammatical notions and vocabulary.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, students will:

1. Character Recognition & Comprehension – Recognize 35 radicals, 179 characters, and 606 common words while understanding their meaning and contextual usage in 81 sentences.
2. Writing & Stroke Mastery – Master how to count writing strokes and accurately demonstrate character writing.
3. Character Formation & Development – Learn the methods of Chinese character formation and track character development over time.
