Chinese Elementary – Level 1B (Online)
Prerequisite: Know Pinyin system and some basic sentences (30 hours of previous instruction or equivalent)
Methodology:
- Review Chinese phonetic system: PIN YIN
- Continue the studies of basic grammar:
- Simple sentences with an adjective predicate
- Adverbs of degree
- Particle “le”
- Positive-negative questions
- Adverbials of time and location
- Introduce character radicals
- Vocabulary applied to the following:
- Describing simple work and study situations
- Describing family and friends
- Neighbourhood
- The expression of directions
Required Materials
- Headphones and an external microphone
- High-speed stable internet connection
- Access to a computer with a minimum of Windows 10 or Mac G5
