Prerequisite: French as a Second Language – Level 1 or equivalent
Overall Goals :

1. This course aims to develop the student’s ability to understand conversations on a variety of everyday topics.
2. In addition, it allows the student to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring only a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and common topics.
3. By the end of the course, the student will already be able to formulate simple sentences in the near future.
4. Among the proposed themes are: health, body parts, daily activities, weather, clothing, food.

• Audio comprehension exercises
• Role-playing and role-plays
• Group work

Required Material:

Students may choose to purchase either a digital book or a paper book, not both.
The purchase should only be made after the first class.

Device: PC (Windows 11) or Mac OS 13 (Ventura or newer).
Laptops or desktops are recommended for full functionality.

Students may be able to participate using Chromebooks or tablets, but features may be limited.

• Internet Connection: Minimum – 10 Mbps download / 2 Mbps upload.
  Recommended – 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.

  Wired internet connection is preferred for stability.

• Audio & Video: Headphones or earbuds with a microphone.
  Webcam (built-in or external) is recommended.
