Prerequisite : Français langue seconde — Niveau 2 or equivalent
Overall Goals:

1. This course will provide the grammar and vocabulary necessary to understand an oral conversation and a written message, to study and analyze texts, and to communicate with colleagues in the public sector and in professional, cultural, and social settings.
2. It involves learning new expressions, understanding structures, simple and some more complex sentences, and role-playing.
3. Among the themes proposed are: making a reservation, requesting and providing information, travel, weather, cinema, service offer, cultural activities.

Required Material:

Students may choose to purchase either a digital book or a paper book, not both.
The purchase should only be made after the first class.

• Device: PC (Windows 11) or Mac OS 13 (Ventura or newer).
  Laptops or desktops are recommended for full functionality.

  Students may be able to participate using Chromebooks or tablets, but features may be limited.

• Internet Connection: Minimum – 10 Mbps download / 2 Mbps upload.
  Recommended – 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.

  Wired internet connection is preferred for stability.

• Audio & Video: Headphones or earbuds with a microphone.
  Webcam (built-in or external) is recommended.
